Screenshots and videos
The Library keeps the pictures and clips you take of your world.
Showing the Library
The Library is hidden by default. Choose View → Panels → Library to show it. Bleu remembers your choice.
Screenshots
Tools → Take a Screenshot (Ctrl/⌘ Shift P) captures the whole scene, sky included, at your screen's full resolution. It leaves out the palette and the pointer. The picture goes into the Library under Screenshots.
Screenshots are saved there already, so each one offers:
- Download, which gives you the original PNG.
- Export As…, which opens a Save As dialog that offers only JPEG and WebP.
- Delete, which asks you to confirm.
Videos
Tools → Record a Video records six seconds of the world: the sky, the island and everything you painted, with the mood on. The pointer's glow and sound are left out.
- A countdown badge ("Recording · 5s") shows at the top while it runs.
- The menu item is unavailable until it finishes.
- The world keeps moving, and you can keep painting while it records.
The clip is added to the Library under Videos. Each clip shows a picture from part of the way through, its length and its format, and opens in a player when you click it.
A video is saved as MP4. WebM is used only if your system can't record MP4.
- Download gives you the saved MP4 as it is.
- Export As… opens a video-only Save As dialog. For an MP4 clip it offers WebM, never image or painting formats. The extension you pick decides the conversion.
- Making the copy means playing the clip and recording it again, so it takes about as long as the clip, and the button says "Exporting…" meanwhile.
- If your system can't make another video format, Export As… is unavailable.
- Delete asks you to confirm.
